Privacy Policy

VNK Digital ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us - typically your name, email, phone number and project details when you complete our quote form, message us on WhatsApp, or email us.

If you refer a business, we collect your name and phone or email (so we can pay your reward), the business's name, the name and phone or email of the person there, whether you've spoken to them, your referral code, any notes you add, and where you found the referral link. We use the business's details only to contact them about our services, as our referral terms describe, and delete them on request.

When you use our free website check, the address you type is used to load that public page once and is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights to measure its speed. The result is shown to you and not stored. Your IP address is held briefly in memory only to limit repeated checks.

How we use it

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver any services you engage us for. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

Where it's stored

Quote-form and referral-form submissions are processed through our website host (Netlify) and forwarded to us as a private Telegram message so we can reply quickly. We keep your details only as long as needed to assist you, and delete them on request.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to its use. To exercise any of these, just contact us.

Cookies

Our website does not set any cookies of its own. We advertise with Google Ads, and every page loads Google's advertising tag. When you send a quote request or tap a WhatsApp link, the tag reports that to Google Ads as a "conversion", so we can see which adverts lead to enquiries. To do this, Google may set or read its own cookies in your browser and receives technical details such as your IP address, browser and the page you were on. We don't receive your name or contact details through it. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy, and you can manage ad personalisation in Google's My Ad Center. You can also block or delete these cookies in your browser settings.

Separately, once our new-client offer has popped up, your browser remembers that on your own device so it doesn't pop up again - it stays as a small tab instead. That record never leaves your device.
